President, Managing Partner

Gregg is a Partner in The Heartland Group. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry stemming from his earlier days serving our country in The United States Marine Corps as an operating engineer. As a project manager, he has knowledge of cost management, budget, and competitive estimating, coordinating the design of projects, space planning, contract administration, developing and training personnel, strategic business planning, risk management, P&L oversight, and customer relations. Gregg has completed multi-family and commercial projects across the Midwest, including New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. He works closely with HUD personnel and several local Housing Authorities and Building Departments.

Brian is a Partner in The Heartland Group. He oversees coordination of the THG executive team with municipalities, government agencies and investors to manage the cash flows of the business. He also oversees Heartland’s investment portfolio which includes implementation of periphery financial services that help to augment revenues and streamline workflows for the firm. Brian brings more than 25 years in the financial services industry, holding multiple senior management roles. Previously, he worked at a London-based multi-regional derivatives trading company where he was responsible for trading, portfolio risk management, sales, technology and market structure, financial engineering, compliance, and interactions with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Bank of England. Brian also co-founded and is currently an executive director of Proplend Ltd., a financial technology firm operating an FCA-approved peer-to-peer lending platform that focuses on lending to income-producing commercial real estate projects in the UK.

Tim Kirby is an experienced senior leader in Information Systems Administration with excellent project management skills. He has a knack for aligning business strategies with technology to optimize operations and achieve overall company goals. Tim is proficient in Accounting System Administration, Business Report Design, and Microsoft Office 365. He also has a diverse skill set that includes networking, third-party software support, and Voice over IP telephony. Tim's project management skills have been demonstrated in various industries, including construction, where he successfully oversaw the implementation of technology projects. He has a track record of navigating mergers, acquisitions, and startups, making him a strategic thinker who can lead independent contributions and team-based initiatives. His strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management acumen make him an ideal candidate for our VP of Operations position.

VP of Contruction - Denver Market

Mark Anderson has over 21 years of experience in commercial construction, managing over $1.3 billion in projects. He started See Construction, LLC in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from North Dakota State University. Mark's career began at Hensel Phelps Construction Co., where he oversaw projects ranging from $30 million to $200 million, including notable ones like Research Complex One and the Hyett Hotel in Denver. Later, at Mortenson Construction Company, he led the construction of complex labs and hospitals valued from $50 million to $450 million. Notably, Mark successfully completed the $450 million St. Joseph Hospital project in Denver, the 4 Seasons Hotel in CA, and the Wyndham Hotel Denver Tech Center. With his extensive experience, including estimating, scheduling, site logistics, constructability reviews, and holding a Class A license in Denver and surrounding jurisdictions Mark is a valued member of our team.

Mike is a committed and self-driven leader with over 22 years of experience in managing work crews and delivering successful outcomes across various projects. He is highly respected for his strong work ethic and excels both independently and as a team player. As an Installer/Project Manager, he demonstrated excellent coordination skills for travel, personnel, materials, and installations at customer locations nationwide, always maintaining high standards. With expertise in project management and field supervision, Mike has a proven track record as a Foreman/Journeyman and Carpenter/Foreman. His exceptional attention to detail, time management abilities, and adaptability to design changes have ensured on-budget, on-schedule project completions. Mike's commitment to excellence, dedication, and leadership makes him a valuable asset to our team, consistently delivering exceptional results. Outside of work, Mike enjoys coaching youth softball and spending time with his family.

Craig is a U.S. Army Veteran and has been working in the construction industry for nearly 10 years. With experience in managing both commercial and residential construction projects, he knows what it takes to deliver an exceptional outcome on any project he takes on. Craig had his own residential construction company (Young Construction) and has worked as a construction manager for a home builder. Craig also worked as the Superintendent for a commercial construction company in Colorado Springs, where he specialized in TI projects for several restaurants, retail stores, and office buildings. Along with his experience in management, Craig is also a skilled trim carpenter. He knows exactly what details to look for in a project to ensure the highest level of quality is provided on any of his construction projects. His experience in the construction industry has allowed him to dial down exactly what it takes to deliver an exceptional project, while also staying on schedule and on budget. In his spare time, Craig enjoys woodworking and exploring the beautiful sights of Colorado with his wife.
